The travel agent gives to the person interested in travel the necesary information, His principal objetive is sale de package to this person, this package can incluyed some thing like: hotel, flights, tours, and many thing more...

The services that a travel agent offers besides the ones that we've been talking are information about the weather condition in the place that the tourist want to visit, the principal attraction and exhibitions there, agents also provide information, required documents (visas, passports, etc).
In order to offer a good service the agent should be well trained and they should have all the knowledge about Geography, History, traditions, customs, places to visit to buy, tours, rates and all kind of tourist information; the travel agent has to know very well the schedules, and one of the most importart thing that an agent need is speak English and have a good attitude of service.

As a Travel Agent to be able to do a good work you also need to know perfectly about the geography location, characteristics, most important tourist poles or cities of each country, as well as airports and the codes used for each one.
